Vice President, Project Management and Execution Upstream
Decie Autin has served as Vice President, Project Management & Execution for ExxonMobil
Development Company since January 2017.
Prior to her current position, Decie served as Upstream Production Operations Manager for ExxonMobil
Production Company. Before that, from 2008 to September 2014, she held the position of Project
Executive for the PNG LNG Project, for which her responsibilities included planning, development and
execution of all aspects of the $19B project to commercialize natural gas resources in Papua New
Guinea. The project was successfully started up several months ahead of schedule in May 2014.
Decie has been with ExxonMobil for over 30 years since graduating from Georgia Tech with a BChE.
She began her career in New Orleans in the offshore facilities surveillance team and moved within the
organization, holding positions in facilities and mechanical engineering management, natural gas and
gas liquids marketing, continuous improvement, and operations. After 15 years in New Orleans, Decie
moved to Houston in 1995, as a Planner with Natural Gas. In 1998, Decie joined the Upstream
Development Company, where she held project management positions on Hoover-Diana (Gulf of
Mexico), Thunder Horse (Operated by Others – Gulf of Mexico) and Erha (Offshore Nigeria).
