With more than ten years of professional experience in Mozambique, Eva Meignen has acquired a solid base of knowledge about the socio-economic context of the country.
Eva is currently leading the implementation of the Skills Training for Employment in Mozambique (STEM) Program, a CAD 18 million, 6-year program (2014-2020) funded by the Government of Canada and implemented by Colleges and Institutes Canada. STEM aims to improve technical training programs in five institutions in Tete and Cabo Delgado through institutional partnerships with Canadian colleges. STEM is particularly focused on bringing women into training programs.
STEM works in partnership with ANEP, DINET, IFPELAC and builds linkages with the private sector.
