Pablo Avogadri is the LNG New Units Platform Leader within the Turbomachinery and Process Solutions business of Baker Hughes, a GE company.
Headquartered in Florence, Italy with over 11,000 employees worldwide, the Turbomachinery business unit is a leading provider of rotating equipment technology and services for mechanical-drive, compression and power-generation applications across the oil and gas industry.
By leading the LNG Platform unit and before as Chief Marketing Officer in BHGE Turbomachinery and Process Solutions, Pablo has built an extensive knowledge of the LNG market and trends, its industry value proposition and dynamics, to define the best strategy for BHGE and identify innovative LNG solutions for the business.
Prior to joining GE 6 years ago, Pablo was a Principal at Booz & Company, a leading management consultancy, where he served several Energy majors and super-majors (specifically in Oil & Gas, Renewables and the Nuclear industry) delivering a number of strategy and business improvement projects.
Previously, he worked at Eni Exploration & Production, gaining significant industry experience at the Kashagan project in The Netherlands, where he was responsible for operating model improvement and business process re-engineering.
Pablo began his career as a researcher specializing in Neural Networks applied to Power Generation control systems and later as a strategy & operations consultant in the Energy practice of Arthur D. Little, an international management consultancy.
Pablo holds a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan and completed the TIME program (Top Industrial Managers of Europe) at the Technical University of Hamburg in Germany.
