Como podem as PME ser participantes ativo no desenvolvimento da indústria do petróleo e do gás? E que benefícios eles trarão?

Develop an essay of 1.500 words in one of the following topics:

What role can Economic Diversification play in maximising the benefits from Mozambique’s gas sector
How can Innovation and Technology help oil and gas sector achieve greater levels of growth and efficiency?
How can SMEs be an active player in the development of the oil and gas industry? And what benefits will they bring?

The student who writes the winning essay will have the opportunity to participate in the 3-day Summit & Exhibition with expenses covered by CWC Group.

Supporting Mozambique's Educational Development

The Mozambique Gas Summit & Exhibition is proudly supporting the educational sector of Mozambique by inviting lead universities with engineering programmes to participate and share opinions with government and operators.

The need for Mozambican professionals in areas of engineering, geology, oil & gas exploration, gas development knowledge is becoming very important for the sustainable development of Mozambique’s economy, and therefore more universities are being urged to open related academic programmes.

Students should choose 1 of the following essay themes:

ENGLISH:

What role can Economic Diversification play in maximising the benefits from Mozambique’s gas sector?
How can Innovation and Technology help oil and gas sector achieve greater levels of growth and efficiency?
How can SMEs be an active player in the development of the oil and gas industry? And what benefits will they bring?

PORTUGUESE:

Que papel pode a Diversificação Económica desempenhar na maximização dos benefícios do sector de gás de Moçambique?
Como a inovação e a tecnologia podem ajudar o setor de petróleo e gás a alcançar maiores níveis de crescimento e eficiência?
Como podem as PME ser participantes ativo no desenvolvimento da indústria do petróleo e do gás? E que benefícios eles trarão?

The essay should have no more than 1500 words
Only students from University Year 2 and above are eligible to participate
The essays should be sent, together with proof of university enrollment, to Tiago Marques on tmarques@thecwcgroup.com no later than 22 October 2018.
The winner and the two runner ups of the contest will be announced on 26 October 2018 through CWC Group’s webpage.

Essay Contest Prize

The student who writes the winning essay will get the opportunity to participate at the Mozambique Gas Summit on 31 October – 2 November 2018 in Maputo. The expenses of travelling, accommodation and participation at the Summit will be covered by CWC Group.
